I recently installed Pidgin.
I can't set up an account and activate it.
I get an "incorrect password" message every time.
I have "modified" it several times, changing the password.
No go.
HELP.

I have tried and tried to fix this, but nothing works. I've seen the
older posts about it that say it was a bug that was fixed, but I still

instead of "Use ClientLogin". Seemed to work for a few people. Have you
tried that?

C runtime reports request of unusual termination request and pidgin
reported and no longer working.
It appears the problem was related to ASPELL. I installed spell check
for the first time with this install. I had to uninstall it and pidgin
and remove the pidgin subdir to correct the problem

-C to configure the username and such, but I haven't gotten the SILC plugin to
work with my portable irssi. Please help.
