Hi Im running linux mint and have pidgin 2.7.3 i downloaded and installed 0 5 but cant work out how to turn it on the old one keeps coming up not the new one ive tried reading the faq's and all those i just kept getting lost so sorry if youve posted your help would be appreciated thanks

the Pidgin user data is stored in the C:\Documents and Settings\user name\.purple folder. However if you updated Pidgin in the standard location and while logged in as the same user as normal then these settings would have been preserved. Did you do something different from normal when upgrading
