Currently on SM 2.7, But I don't think it's version dependent!
I have a mail folder with some messages which I think are duplicates,
and I'm trying to check this.
- I tag one article as 'to do' and the other article as 'later'
- I point to the first and ask for it to be opened in a new tab.

each case, I attempted to download through "check for updates", and in
each case SM installed and ended with the Release Notes/Changes page.

They and I both use comcast.net. I've been connected for years without
a problem. I've called comcast and we are using the correct port and
the server setting are correct. But comcast still does not connect.
