Gentlemen, mission successfully accomplished. Sean's directions were
spot-on, and the copying of my old (Netscape 4.79) In and Sent folders
into my SM 2.0.11 Mail folder (via an intermediary folder where we
renamed the In and Sent folders 'inscape' and 'sentscape') went smoothly
and easily.
Ken again. Small correction to my last. The renamed folders ('inscape'
and 'sentscape') aren't under Local Folders but in the same folder as my
current SM In and Sent boxes.

local folders are located in the profile, under mail folder
you can view it with the explorer. None SM

Hi guys. I need help with a Netscape matter. Briefly, I have several
years' of valuable emails stored in Netscape. For reasons connected
with how Windows 7 on my new computer won't run Netscape, I have
installed Netscape 4.79 on another computer (a Hewlett Packard) having
Windows XP.

My suggestion would be to install Seamonkey on the computer with
Netscape. I pick Seamonkey because it is the closest thing to Netscape
out there (and why I run it). Seamonkey should be able to import the
files into it. From there you can transfer that install of seamonkey to
the Win 7
