Burning oil mixed with fuel - at least in a low compression gas engine leads to more pollution. (Think of a 2 cycle engine) The best bet is to use syn oils, as these tend to be more stable, evaporate into the atmosphere less and significantly prolong engine life. Castor oil is good for old res
