Which Hebrew translation of what?
There are many modules available:
HebModern = Modern Hebrew Translation
BHS = Biblia Hebraica Stugartentsia (Kittel, 1937)
Aleppo = Aleppo Codex (Mechon-Mamre.org)
Also what would be great is someone to translate all
the various labels and program elements
From what you say, everything is working as expected. We only support a
subset of tags in ThML that we have found useful. We could add more if
they are needed, but the two examples you gave wouldn't be contenders for
addition to Sword.

If you really feel like you need to change the font, I think standard HTML
font face=... tags will work but you're better off using Unicode
whenever possible. (Not having followed development very closely, I don't
know whether this is possible in the personal commentary, but if it is

Currently, you need to configure your sword module location with an
/etc/sword.conf file to take advantage of this feature. Here's the
contents of mine (located at D:\etc\sword.conf):

Sometimes (i.e. non reproducable) if I edit my userprefs.conf, deleting
everything so it is a 0 byte file, then sword crashes when loading. Possibly
an uninitialised variable being used? I did this when tracking down why some
dictionaries showed strange fonts.

Download the newest Beta-Version (see Troy's posting about Beta

Code2000 doesn't even fully support all the code points needed by
WebstersDict. Indeed, it uses codes in both the BMP and the SMP, so there
won't likely ever be a font that support this module fully. It's a good

Are the transliteration filters working on Diatheke? They don't seem to
be. Also, Diatheke seems to only search phrases, regardless if you use
regex or multiword calls. This is based on a recent CVS compile of
Diatheke.
Is there documentation anywhere on how to use the new win32 utilities
(imp2vs, imp2ld, imp2gbs). I just figured out how to create a commentary
using imp2vs by creating a file with the format:

This is a great improvement over the old utility -
and a general book module. I need to know things like what the file
formats should be and what values to place in the .conf file (especially
for the gen book module).
It works the same way for the lexdict modules. Concerning the genbook

I'm trying to compile the sword library for arm (so I can compile
qpsword) and am getting the following errors:
/usr/local/arm/arm-v4l-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lstdc++
There's no libstdc++ in my /usr/local/arm directory. Do I need to
download an additional package?

Have you tried sourcing the sword/arminst.sh file:

mv /usr/lib/libsword* /usr/local/arm/lib
I don't seem to have a libstdc++ on my box for the arm either but it
works for me.

modern-Hebrew translation of the Bible...
If you wish to read a realiable original text then refer to the Aleppo text,
and for the NT the Nestle Aland 27 UBS4 Greek Text
