Hey Greg,
I'm building the python bindings with cmake 2.6.4. I'm trying to specify a
user location, but it doesn't work with current svn -
SWORD_PYTHON_INSTALL_DIR is always just "OFF", even if I pass a value
through the cmake command. If I pass "1" as the value, then
SWORD_PYTHON_INSTALL_DIR gets
I am not convinced that using a usfm editor is giving anyone an edge in terms
of module design. Bibledit is a brilliant program for its purpose - translating
the Bible. But if you want to create featureful osis texts then this is not the
way to go, unless you have already a featureful usfm text
If your app is offline, then I think it counts as any other Sword frontend,
in that your'e not redistributing content. This is the case for STEP as I
understand it. But you need to distinguish between offline locally and
offline while distributing content to others. So if by offline you mean

Hi Chris,
thank you for your answer.
In terms of Copyright/license, you fall under the "redistribution"
category as far as I can tell. As a result, you will need to seek
permission for all modules in the repository (apart from those that are
public domain). Or at least, that's my understanding.
this is the first time to hear about Bibledit, It may help me making Arabic
Deutrocanonical Books, I wish if there's a GUI tool that can be used to create

basic elements only, I have an idea for a GUI XML Editor (.ne

Hi,
in my spare time I develop a node.js libsword wrapper as a backend for a
future web app. The node.js wrapper will download the requested module
and serialize the data, so that a mobile javascript app can handle it.
What should I keep in mind to avoid a licence/contribution issue since

How SwordWeb displays the ESV wasn't the point.
The point was that the second title within Song 4:16 was OSIS coded between
poetry line groups.
So even Xiphos could display it properly, without omitting the line breaks
before and after.
/Remember what Karl explained last week or earlier?/
Hence
Bibledit can already export to OSIS - but further conversion is required to
make a module.
It can call the latest version usfm2osis.py (with options to use alternative
scripts).
It's checked every 24 hours for any available updates.
And (in the context of Pola's reply) Bibledit is for Bibles, not
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. All modules can now be found, and
are in the right place (ie. NOT in C:\ drive).
Most modules load fine, but at least one - Eastons Bible Dictionary -
will cause BTM to freeze and then crash every time I try to load it. (I
tried Eastons in Bibletime on linux
