It is not the text of any of the SWORD modules that it aims to be able to
change, but the text of any Bible in USFM format. The SWORD modules

Did you look at the USFM texts on GitHub

Hi DM,
I really want Peter to address the issue, rather than some kind of
workaround.
This thread already records that on 27 August, I was able to build the
module successfully from the same OSIS file, using default KJV v11n, and
osis2mod $Rev: 2893
I just repeated the build using osis2mod: $Rev
It looks like the module was built with the KJV versification and the conf
gives the wrong one (didn’t look). If you delete the versification line from
the conf (or set it to KJV), does it work properly?
If so, I’ll be happy to change the conf on the server. As this is not merely a
conf change,
Dear Peter,
The problems that I reported in late August with HebDelitzsch 1.1.1 are
still not fixed.
Something was seriously amiss with the module build, not just the absence of
a line in the conf.
Please examine the module carefully in a front-end such as Xiphos.
Look at Revelation of John 1:1
Teus,
Is there an Off-By-One & Off-By-Two error ?
Look how the first letters are missing below:
13:00:10 | Install SWORD module hn Gill Exposition Whole Bible from source
ohn Gill Exposition Whole Bible
13:00:10 | Install SWORD module mieson Fausset Brown from source amieson
Fausset Brown
13:0
Teus,
Were you wanting to provide the ability to actually change and edit the Bible
text?
Grace and Peace,

The remote VPN endpoint that has provided my home server's (as
ftp.xiphos.org's) external visibility for roughly 2 decades completely
failed last weekend. It was finally determined yesterday that that node
will not come back. So I worked out the necessary dynamic DNS and other

Hi guys,
Bibledit is now a very simple front-end to the SWORD modules.
The demo at http://bibledit.org:8080/index/index can display text from any
Bible SWORD module.
See menu Resources / SWORD for the module list.
See menu Resources / View / Organize to get it to display text from a SWORD
