Hi André,
Concerning the effort of digitizing a public domain text, the project is
at Distributed Proofreaders (DP). Everybody can help, once you have
created an account with DP, you can already start proofreading a text in
proofreading phase 1 (at this moment Luke's Gospel is at this stage).

Hi Dario and others,
I don't know about the status of the copyrighted bibles in Portuguese
nor the "Traduçao Brasileira", but a team of Brazilian and Portuguese
volunteers have started to digitize the public domain "Almeida Corrigida
e Revisada" from 1911. The project is at Distributed Proofreader
getopt without GNU extensions is a part of the Unix Base Specifications
and should be available mostly everywhere.

Thank you for the link. I went to this location and figured out that
there are many files with 0 bytes under /pub/sword/betapackages/rawzi
Hello!
Sorry for the trivial question (this is probably listed somewhere, but I
couldn't find it), could someone give me the address of the "beta area"
where are the new modules to be tested?
Thanks.
God bless,
