Everyone,
I just observed that http://www.asambleadeyahweh.com/ is non-Trinitarian.
I am therefore unwilling to provide further assistance on this translation.

I have run my TextPipe filters to generate the IMP file. Booknames are as
generally used by CrossWire.
The start of the file looks like this.

$$$[ Testament 1 Heading ]
$$$Genesis 0:0
GÉNESIS
$$$Genesis 1:0
Capítulo 1
$$$Genesis 1:1
EN el principio creó el Poderoso los cielo
FWIW. I made a bespoke TextPipe filter for converting (Biblical text) from
VPL to IMP.
Some of my TextPipe filters are listed in

TextPipe is for Windows only, and is not a free program.

I created the RVR2011 module via windows from Angel's file, in the way I do it
(prepend the verse reference to each line.) I see no missing space characters
in BibleTime with the completed module. It looks complete with the
spaces. I don't read Spanish, but I believe the encoding is the
Hi Jon.
Well, the problem I was having was with the vpl format; for some reason, the
conversion process removed a lot of spaces in the text and it didn't show
correctly on the bible viewers (at least on BibleTime and Xiphos).
I'm currently converting the text to imp format. I ran some tests, alt

In the vpl text I have, I started like this:

GÉNESIS
Capítulo 1
En el principio creó el Poderoso los cielos y la tierra...
according to the format that vpl2mod expects. Now, in imp format,
should I drop the first lines that describe

Thanks David for your insights.
The module I'm working on is called "Reina Valera Restaurada 2011"
which you can find at http://www.asambleadeyahweh.com . This version
was made based on RVR1909 by José Alvarez, the leader of Asamblea de
Yahweh in Puerto Rico (they are a "descendant" of the Yahwe's
You say "based on the SpaRV 1909".
So how does what you're working on differ from the existing CrossWire module
called SpaRV ?
This is based on the 1909 PD edition.
NB. Adding morphology (etc) to PD translations is sometimes seen as a
creative act, and thus one which may have already resulted in
vpl2mod is not used very often nowadays, so it's conceivable that there may
be some unreported bugs.
The missing spaces issue is certainly strange as well as unepected.
You might have better success by preprocessing the original file to IMP
format, then using imp2vs.

Thanks for the info.
Anyway, seems I almost got it working, following the brief
instructions on the man page of vpl2mod (I'm using Linux, by the way).
I only have one problem: When I open the module on a viewer (I'm
testing it on Xiphos), it lacks spaces between the words. Here's an
example of G
Angel,
The link that you reference is not VPL, it is OSIS. That's why vpl2mod
fails.
Sorry, I don't have any example vpl files.

Hi all.
I'm new in this list, as you can tell. Please excuse me if my
questions shout out "NOOB" all over the place.
I'm working on a Spanish module based on the public domain SpaRV 1909.
Seems that it uses KJV versification, so I'd like to try and format
it as vpl and convert it to a Sword mod
