will be a way to upgrade but it wont be as seamless as say 1.2 -> 1.3
and will require some additional work to transform the application,

to know the answer of these questions
how easy it will be to upgrade from 1.4 to 2.0 once it is ready?
I've been reading the mail list for some time... it looks like
starting a new project on 2.0 is bad decision
