There was some delay on getting the 1.4 release going because of some
blocking issues and me being busy with other things. But I'd like to a
release branch made this week if possible.
Please add any issues or pull requests that you believe should block
the release in the 1.4 milesto
I have made the 1.4 release branch. Any changes that should go in 1.4
should be made as PR to that branch (only release critical changes).
Everything else can continue to be merged into master as usual.
