Look how are misaligned the time cursor from timetrack and from timeswidget
(even with an 1x16px image)

You could setup one virtual machine with different custom Desktop themes
and test your fixes there. I think that just four flavors are enough:
Unity, KDE, GNOME, XFCE. If I have time this Monday I'll test on KDE and
Unity in a virtual box I have on my iMac.
