newspapers in the U.S. who do not care about track and that determines their
coverage of the sport no matter how good local organizers are providing the
editors with information and results.
Editors at The Oregonian here in Portland have told

invitational meets will be in favor of going to a one false start rule in races
from 400 down. They put a lot of time, money and promotions into getting
the best sprinters and hurdlers to their events and wouldn't want to see them
disqualified
