I think it's the bad taste I got from the Hibernate guys. I had once a
popular RFE which was rejected like 5 times, and I had to maintain a
locally-patched version of the library just because Gavin is in a rather
long bad mood period. Maybe he's getting old. Or maybe I was just
annoying to him.
Ok, I've added some comments and will start harassing james on IM if no one responds. On 4/2/06, Leonardo Quijano Vincenzi <

Sorry for jumping on it so much Leonardo, I understand wanting to get things done without having to wait...But I'm also very much against supporting library modifications of any kind. Sometimes it ~has~ to be done, but hopefully those are incredibly rare cases. (Like us with AjaxForm before I joine

I answered this question a long time ago. Hivemind-PATCHED is NOT needed
for users of Tacos, unless they want to use initializers with embedded
commas. Normal hivemind works fine if users want to use it.
Now, if you remove the dependency, the Tacos demo will break. So,

I saw these jars under ext finally and was wondering what they were being used for ? I think they must have to do with some of the masking stuff, but am probably jumping the gun thinking that we're requiring tacos users to use a special hivemind version patched by ourselves?

Thanks, that fixed it (using demos/dojo/js files).
I didn't know the current demo is the place to get the Tacos-compliant
dojo files.
The only tacos mailing list I can find is tacos-dev. Are posts like
this OK in tacos-dev?

In the interest of getting something accomplished I've done the initial tacos import into subversion. It looks like we're working out of trunk, which I think is a good idea in hindsight as people seem to use the sources much more than the releases.

Please do not cross post to several lists at a time. It messes up the
e-mail responses.
I'm reproducing my answer here.
Ahhh right... the AjaxSubmit binds to the "name" parameter instead of
the ID one. Sounds like a bug.
Can you write a bug report?

Hello everyone,
I have written a custom form component (called PopinForm) that contains
an AjaxSubmit component. I'm finding that because of the way that Tacos
AjaxSubmit connects up its javascript event handler it always uses the
name of the component AjaxSubmit component. So if I use two of my
But where was that new subversion repository?
SF is saying CVS could be up again today.
