% is the value shown on signs, the highest I can remember seeing is 25%, will
be on the lookout now.
There may still be some older 1:4 (1 in 4) type signs around so maybe a unit is

During my updates of some wiki translations, I discovered the map
featured tag office=it. When you asked yourself what means my
message title office=kjuilmn, then you feel like an average
contributor reading office=it for the first time.
Here is our wiki about it:

means we should really avoid abbreviations in main tags (sub-tags can
be discussed).
That's why I would like to change the wiki to e.g.

A long discussion with multiple ideas given is currently taking place about
power poles and hosted features on the talk feed of the Substation

Hey Francois
+10 for deprecating power=tower/pole and tag them what they are: a tower
or a pole.

It would allow us to have nodes with man_made=pole +
I would prefer that you didn't pretend we will deprecate a tag so widely used
just so a small proportion of them can have another power tag on it when we can
easily just add transformer=yes or something similar.

Looks established. It makes no sense (and there is IMHO no need) to change
these.

There is another frequently used value in the same category: office=ngo
Want to change that as well?
I am unsure how strict we should be in this no-abbrevation business
For me it seems OK as is.
