I'm using WE 8.4 still and occasionally have some glitches when a new
Outlook Enhance comes out and a reboot will fix it.

I wanted to give a little more information about Window-eyes sluggish
behavior.
Here's exactly what happens, remember this is on a Windows 7 64-bit
machine.
While window-eyes is speaking, I can usually press the control key to
silence the speech, but for whatever strange reason,
check that the keyboard interuptability is not turned off. with me it turns
itself off several times per week without me doing anything. and if you
happened to save a set file change while this is happening you may of saved
the keyboard interuptibility while it was off too.

glad it was a simple fix. i don't know if maybe the enhanced key layout
might be causeing this. even when it is off.
but since i uninstalled this app the keyboard interuptability turning itself
off has not happened for the last month.

changed, so I set it to all keys globally, and that fixed it

If you do, do you have an windows 7 CD?
If so, do you have the product key? This may not be needed if you are
installing on a recent dell machine, because the key is in the bios.
