Hi guys

I wanted to give a little more information about Window-eyes sluggish behavior. Here's exactly what happens, remember this is on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. While window-eyes is speaking, I can usually press the control key to silence the speech, but for whatever strange reason, pressing the control key has no effect, it just keeps right on talking, and does not even respond to the control key at all. Plus, Window-eyes will read the entire window of information if I'm in one. For example, if I'm in a list of Window-eyes settings, pressing the control keywon't sstop the speech, and moving the up or down arrows works, but is very laggy. I have to hear the entire contents of a window before I can do anything. I have the WE sounds app, which makes a slight beeping sound when i move through menus. The beep sound happens when I press the up and down arrow keys just like it should, but Window-eyes won't speak the choice in the menu as i arrow down to it, there is a delay of about 5 to 10 seconds, based on the amount of speech that hapens to be in the buffer. By the way, I should mention that I'm using Dec-talk Access 32 for Window-eyes, but this seems to happen no matter what synthesizer I use. I have the vocalizer expressive, and elloquence as well. Is there a setting in Window-eyes that somehow got changed? or is it time for a re-install? Any help would really be appreciateed here!
Thanks guys!

Chris
