Hi Charlie,
Are you saying it used to say this and no longer does?
Assuming your sound device software is still installed, the only thing that
occurs to me is that the sound device doesn't see a difference between the
state before and after plugging them in.
In this case, you might try plugging it

Rebecca,
I think what Curtis Delzer was referring too were hidden windows that

applications that run in the background.

To move the mouse, you need to use the "jaws Cursor". This can be enabled with

The mouse restrictions are toggled with insert-R.

Hello,
I am helping another Screen Reader user with a program they wish to use.
They use JAWS, and they know little about it. And I know even less.
Window eyes can move the Mouse cursor around by using the Number Pad
keys.
Does JAWS have this same feature? Or if it is different, what keys

Hi Curtis,
I'm not sure exactly what the competitor's app does, but if you're simply
looking for an app which allows you to label and switch to visible windows,
Chip Orange's HotWind app might work for you.

Hi Jed:
Office 2016 also has a welcome screen which you should disable, if you
hadn't already. When I ran Excel 2016 it kind of through me for a

Hi all! There is one command in JFW which I find extremely valuable here
in windows ten, and that is the "jaws key, f10" command which gives the
list of windows showing, but often, in windows ten, there are hidden
windows by which cannot be reached easily by hitting alt-tab too and

Hi,
Check the setting
Screen/other/split mixed case. If it is set to on with acronyms, set it to
just on.
With this setting set to on with Acronyms it'll spell out words that are all
uppercase like I B M.
