USB 3.0 is backward compatible with previous versions of USB. You should be
able to just connect the 2.0 device to the 3.0 port without any issues.

You may want to just hit F5 to refresh. When Windows reads the drive it
stores the info in memory if the drive doesn't respond fast enough it
may show as being blank and Windows won't recheck the information unless
you force it to.
