I use the mouse key to click on web links. I tried using the ap key, but
the link didn't
I move the cursor onto the URL then press the shift and F10 keys which
brings up a menu with the option to open a URL, press enter and then
another screen opens up asking if I want to connect to this web site
with the option of yes or no which can be reached with the tab key.

For accessing mails which have primarily been designed to read
on the Web, rather than as plain text, if I tab from the open message,
there is usually a file called something like text to HTML. If you
press the applications key or right click on that, one of the menu
options is open with.
