Why can't WE9.program be set with exclusive use of one core?

Hi, It seems to me that what is needed is a screen reader with priority to do it's job. For example, I have a program, Houdini, which is capable to use up to 8 or more (i think) cores for it's analysis of a chess game. When this program is running it uses all 4 cores on my computer, and WE9.

Manny, I am working up a procedure to raise the Window-Eyes service to /AboveNormal priority. Generally this is a safer approach then using CPU Affinity and locking a serve down to one or more cores. If you can do , click on the details tab, and the raise the priority of each Window-Eyses proc
