sighted husband to read the screen to me.

Hi. Actually, a more direct keystroke for launching narrator in
Windows 10 is windows key plus enter.
I do believe that those dialogues can be read by narrator, so if you
haven't installed the Windows 10 anniversary update yet, you can do it
completely without sighted help.
