I don't have this problem but am not using the Thunderbird app. Are you
using the app and if so, try disabling the app and see what happens.

Yes, it reads the subject line again after the message is opened. This
was fixed in a previous Window-eyes version, but the problem came back
in 9.5.1. Hope someone can find a fix for this.
