Hello,
I *think* I deleted a road as part of this changeset:
3172878
Is it possible to revert the changeset? It covers a large area, but it's
actually only a few nodes far apart from each other.
There are only a few people working on S. Korea right now, so the
likelihood of someone else changi

Hi there,
looking at the map renders of Rio de Janeiro's downtown, it looks very
cluttered, specially with Osmarender. I believe this should happen in many
other places. We should not be tagging for the renderer, rather the opposite
- fix bugs on the renderer to make it look exactly like you want.
The feature is now approved. So let's start mapping mineshafts.

Was there some sort of consensus on how to tag these at all?
Even though I don't think they should be automatically guessed at, and
even though there is boundaries for most places in Australia, some
times the towns out grow the boundaries and it'd be useful to tag
these exceptions.

I had no luck with gnome-web-photo on ubuntu at all, just get and
compile webkit-image, it's fairly trivial to do and works a
As explained at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Plugins/WMSPlugin#On_Ubuntu_9.04_.27Jaunty_Jackalope.27
I setup JOSM with wmsplugin, using gnome-web-photo 0.3-0ubuntu2.
But no photo underlay is displayed.
The command line I am using for the plugin is
'gnome-web-photo --mode=photo --format
My brain remembers reading something (I'm guessing in this list) about
video mapping with JOSM, but I now can't seem to find anything about
it in the JOSM help/JOSM-Dev list/OSM-talk list. There's a few wiki
pages that (vaguely) mention video mapping but nothing detailed/
specific on how to
