Hi all
I made a map with GPS and Nominatim for Android and iPhone.
It is a WebApplication that lives in the Browser.
On iPhone you can add the map to the home screen to make it fullscreen.
How to open:

Just type

Somewhere in the (firefox?) documentation of geolocation, they hint at the
possibility of turn-by-turn navigation. Which caused me to think what other
GPS or vehicle tracking applications can be written as web apps.
For example, a friend of mine with a sailing boat (yacht) is always worrying

Why? The shorter the definition, the better. The definitions should be

It's very nice, but it won't replace a native Android app like OsmAnd.
The webbrowser just doesn't have the performance needed for this, and the
lack of multitouch is a pity.
But it it the first and only working webbased slippy map for android!

Android Browser gives only the position of one finger to javascript.
There are two types of thing that use the amenity tag:
Small objects that are usually inside others, like water fountains and
post boxes
Larger objects that may take up entire lots, like schools and restaurants
Perhaps it would make sense to treat these differently?

Are you sure?
I'm using a few OSM slippy maps with two fingers zooming in A2.1 (Dell
Streak) along with many websites that allow it.
Maybe that will

Very nice! Is there a way to save a view or bookmark like 'permalink'?

A short definition is great but I think the wiki page could use a little
more explanation *after* the definition, e.g. some examples, references to
supporting sources like wikipedia. I also think that it is worth
mentioning and linking to pertinent mail archive threads on the use of the
tag as it
