Hi,
Just finished creating relations for all the provinces.
To answer Mannings email.
Well done you found one of my deliberate mistakes :-)
Actually I have no real idea which islands belong to which provinces. Feel free
to move them from one relation to another.

Hi, another tip if you record more than one track, is photographing your
hand whilst holding up the number of fingers to match the track number at
the start of every track. This way when you get home it's easy to see which
photo's belong to which track.
As this method of geotagging is using the
Hi,
You probably know this already, but I only discovered it a few weeks ago.
I knew if you had a digital camera with GPS that you could load pictures
from it into JOSM and the would apear at the correct location on the map.
What I did not realize was that you can also use a digital camera even
Hi,
These are a couple Of tags I've been using :

No idea.
shop=spa
purified water shops: shop=water?
shop=water_refilling

If you use water_refilling, how do you tell the difference between purified
water and the stations where water lorries fill up ?
I know

Hi,
I've just updated the Territorial border for the Philippines.
I used the map available here :

I don't know how to make this png a background in JOSM, so I just did a best
guess for the points.
Hopefully I haven't messed up the

Hi,
I am working on importing the almien coastline data for the Philippines.
At the moment all the ways are split into about 10 segements.
What I would like to be able to do is select one way and have all the ways
connected to this way automatically combined into the first way.

Hi,
Ok I'm trying Martijn's method, but I'm just starting with Manila, as that's
the most mapped part of the Philippines. So if Maning, and anyone else helping
to fix this could just sit back and wait I'll let you know when the upload
finishes.
Hopefully no brown-outs or ISP disconnections

Maybe there could be an option added to JOSM to allow editing history to be

Also, the potlatch undelete

Hi,
Just a thought, but how about using an animated logo, for online use.
What I'm thinking, is that as the logo has a magnifying glass, maybe it could
be animated to zoom in on a part of the map, and the location it zooms into

just save the file some where convenient, i.e. the directory where your planet

Hi,
For those that don't know, there is now a beta version of Roadnav available.
This version has support for openstreetmap data.
Displays the maps ok, but routing and searching do not seem to be working.
Not as pretty as Gpsdrive using mapnik, but oh, so much easier to install.
