An idea came to me the other day about some kind of intro to OSM
video, with a noticibly Australian slant to it.
I've seen a couple of intro videos for different editors, but I had
something else in mind, where we could cover things like getting and

Actual another demographic that might be good to target and give
examples highlighting the benefits of OSM would be bush walkers/hikers
etc...

Can I make a suggestion that somebody approach Audax Australia as part of
any outreach programme?. They do long cycle road rides in areas that OSM is

The Ulysses bike club might be another interesting one to approach,
last I heard they had something like 1mill members, for those that
don't know of this group you have to be at least 40 to be a junior
member and 50 to become a full member and they're mostly accountants
and doctors and lawyers and

wandermap.net already donates tracks to OSM.
Having more people contact varies sites; everytrail.com; wikiloc.com;
bikely.com; bikemap.net and explain the benifit of both showing
OpenCycleMap as a slippymap and donating GPS tracks. ... Will help.
