you have a point that indeed those maps are confusing the way OSM renders
them at the site.
But with mapping: there is a difference between what is in the database and
what is displayed.
If what you see is not clear, then perhaps the renderer should be adapted.

I'm not new on this list, but the more I read here, the more I'm afraid I
will break something when I want to add stuff.
A few years ago I added some streets through GPS coordinates.
Most of that work is finished, now it seems to be more about drawing
houses, coupling them to the street, etc.

ik vrees dat ik nog niet echt gemapped heb. Verscheidene redenen daarvoor:
- veel te druk op het werk en met mijn huis te verbouwen.
- te weinig inzicht hoe het mappen juist in zijn werk gaat.
Is er op die dag tijd om een uitleg te geven hoe je best routes invoert?
