Which is why I’ve asked Roger if there any strings attached. If we are free to
run a normal OSM mapping party and improve our mapping while making use of some
free accommodation then I just see it as an opportunity. What Roger is up to
under his contract is up to him.
The politics
I feel that you doubt the authenticity of my links as you have (maybe valid)
grievances with an authors previous article (which I had to look up and was
from 2005...when wikipedia was not established with the same level of
confidence as it now)
To be honest I just picked an article at
I don't think anyone was questioning the authenticity of the claim (rather
the motive of one of the authors given the padding he used around this
claim).
As Andy says, it is up to everyone to decide for themselves. Perhaps this
could have been raised a little earlier so that people were aware and
