I'd also be happy with water (even though I'm still slogging through
FHRS data)
One thing which needs agreement is the tagging of areas of water,
especially the waterway banks:

It might be that someone finds a really good water project that could be
spun up into a quarterly project in the future.
I started noting some of the ideas

Water sounds good.
There are 15,825 ways tagged source=NPE + waterway=* and an additional
23,146 with lowercase npe. So plenty based originally on old data that can
be improved upon.
I will set up a tag script in the next few days to track progress of
source=NPE/npe + waterway=*. Any other things
+1 for 'water' as a general subject for Q1 activities, leaving it open for

Hi everyone
Well we seem to be no nearer reaching agreement on the plethora of
suggestions with more people suggesting what they don't want to do rather

It's not just Notes but the fixme tag too. And yes, this will be skewed to
areas with fewer active mappers. This is partly the point of the project -
to help improve lesser mapped areas and to encourage us to spread the word
about OSM! The aim for me has always been "at least one mapper in every
