If you did, can you please remember what date applied and what sources were
used?
It was recently remarked that some of the Dublin ones were only dated 1901.
As I added quite a few of them using the 1901 census index because I knew
no better, I am curious as to what was used across the country.

As far as I know there were only a few changes in DED boundaries between
1901 and 1911, most of them consisting of a new DED being split off from an
existing one (Derry from Roscarbery in Cork, Glenanne in Armagh). The 1911
census reports are available at

I suspect Brian is trying to ascertain what sources were used for mapping
each ED. We may have to look at the history of the relations / boundaries
to identify the mappers / changesets.
Going forward it would be wise to include the source on the actual boundary
so it can be verified / it's clear w
I know that for both Longford and Cavan where I mapped EDs the ED
boundaries have not changed since they were first set up in the 1840s.
