Hi Mark I worked with Presto on the design of this case and one of my priorities was to add 1/2 either side of the peghead to eliminate any outside chance of the mandolin receiving the 'involuntary Monroe option'. The pockets also holds a set of mandolin strings laying flat. It has lots of

This reminds me of a story Steve Gilchrist told me a few years ago now. David Grisman came out to visit him in Warrnambool Victoria and they went down to the local shopping centre to busk for fun. Apparently they made $17 for a couple of hours work. This is why busking is good for building up

to go back to the Golden Gate reissue. I reckon the case is better than a padded gig bag and is good for A model mandos. The Price case Brian mentioned is good, but I think it has it's own problems. But then, I don't have one of the new ones and I think Paul Duff has been working a lot with the maker

Okay TaterTot Sorry about that, I was busy sanding a batch...oh joy, the glamorous life of a builder. You're right, it is difficult without looking at it. Truss rods are designed for subtle adjustments. Turns are measured in 1/4s at the most. 1/4 turn then look, feel how easy it adjusts then
