as TB, that is, intermittently. I could not connect during some times such as peak Internet use. GMail was slower to connect than my ISP POP accounts. It was frustrating for me but OK for someone who doesn't mind waiting or checking back. I can't condemn the service...it's free! :)

Has this been changed in the betas? This does not happen in v3.62.14. Anyone confirm this? Upon addressing a new message, I can now *only* open the AB via the icon across from the field. The popup AB window does not appear now when I click any addressing fields (TO;, BCC:, CC:) -- steverio
