this is a small wish and as I think, very useful.
I have many IMAP accounts and manytimes I don't know, if I am online
or offline, checking of Conection Centre is not very useful.
I am thinking about text indication in accounts pane, like
Folder Unread Total

While I understand your motivation for this feature I do not quite
agree.

Alternatively, allow the user to define a colour to associate with the
various statuses. That way those not interested in this functionality
can left the selections as the default (black) for a
