I'm currently trying to use The bat with GPG 1.2.2. I can't
however get any signatures to verify off of mailing lists
(specifically this one/PGP basics/GPG users). This is not a problem
with ordinary mails that I've tried. List messages however I've tried
via the privacy menu system tray
