Apologies to the original template writers for my hack job.

distracting flicker while you're editing text.
The plain text editor is really just an HTML editor sans formatting, and
isn't a good solution for people who prefer to work with plain text.

The Bat! could then take it one step further by using its smart quote
wrapping to soft wrap quoted material during editing, exactly as it does
when you do a manual left justify.
One fundamental change, and MicroEd could move from quirky to king.
Not holding my breath...

effectively provides a consistent visual icon, not unlike the park/flag

Or if the programmers want to get fancy, make the entire memo appear
as a tooltip when mousing over the memo column. For bonus points,
allow in-place editing of the memo from the column list (like renaming
a file in Windows Explorer).

be possible then.
Thanks. Good info.
And I just have to say it: Sheesh! How silly to be able to display
a raw email message but not filter on it.

I need the proper syntax for filtering messages containing the
following string ANYWHERE (the text between brackets): [ .exe ]
I realize there are other ways to deal with rogue attachments; but
this one's to follow up on a specific query from a user.

TB!2.0 gets it right (and Microsoft finally figures it out in Outlook

Granted, if I was using the keyboard for navigation, [Ctrl]+[+] isn't
a big deal, but it's much more comfortable to sit back and read
mailing lists with the mouse.
Hope I'm just missing something obvious.

thing as the mouse.
This is NOT complicated: I'd just like to be able to fully expand
threads with the mouse without clicking 20 times on each subthread.

Meanwhile, unless you have a very narrow screen, try the full height

Not a big deal as far as features go, just something that would make

There are actually two different default column settings. One for
threaded view and one for unthreaded. Just to add to the confusion.
Or, more precisely, one for each of the five threading styles,
including None. Defaults also seem to have a scope limited to the
current account.
