Hi Everybody,
I have done image pre-processing to get the target image as in my
attachment, and pass the image to tesseract using pre-trained data(only
contains 11 symbols: "0123456789/") as in my attachment, the variable
settings are as below:
assume_fixed_pitch_char_segment 1

Dear Jose,
I have tried before, the tunnels on the other side has a worse
characteristic than the current side, and is not suitable for OCR.
Currently we are focusing the optimization under Coaxial light, which
has the best visual effect till now.

Can you give me some advice on this situation?

The embossing characters will have a feature of a glory ring at the outside
of each stroke, which will usually break the stroke, and confuses
tesseract. I have tried to train the individual font for these images,
while the result is still bad. Any suggestions on this kind of image?

Dear All,
I am now needing to OCR the embossing characters on the bank card.
These characters are in two kind of font. The first one is Farrington 7B,
which is used to present the account number, and another font is
unknown(maybe bank-dependent) and is used to present card holder name, card

cell extraction" problem?
Thank you all in advance.

Dear All,
Again I update this thread for help. Could I get the table cells based

Dear All,
Currently I am using Tesseract 3.01, and I go through all the
variables that can be set before recognize. And What I need to
recognize is a fixed pattern of string like "OX345PT" with two letters
at first, three digits behind, and two letters at last. Is there a
mechanism of characte
