Draft combined checksums test case and sanity matrix

At about this time (PST) both VNC windows stopped working. One VNC window could not be closed except by killall. Ping reported network unreachable. I had to disconnect and reconnect with the network manager applet to restore normal operation. Asus p8z77-le plus, 3770k 32 GB with realtek 81
