F18 beta - no graphics with ati/intel mix?

With F18 I cannot get X working on a 27 imac (2011). The machine has an ATI Radeon HD 6900M series listed as VGA controller and a Intel device (from Z68 Express chipset) listed as Display controller. With F17 X just worked fine using the ATI but with F18 I cannot get X to work. I tried
