Back when my Jim was home from rehab after having his stroke, and later in
2020-2021, Logan called/emailed and admitted he was having some hearing and
memory issues, and had lost touch with some folks during the pandemic! It was
worrying him ☹️ When he quit responding, I assumed that was why.
Very Good Bill…..
I grew up with the Freak Brothers, which are fashioned after my friends,
and printed Gilbert’s comic…..
See you soon, Terry

that Lowgun had passed away...!

I just heard a short interview on NPR about an upcoming TV cartoon show “The
Freak Brothers”. I recall that there was a close connection in the late 1960s
between Austin cavers and the artist who created the Fabulous Furry Freak
Brothers head comics, Gilbert Shelton.

There will be another work week-end at the Texas Speleological Center (TSC)
scheduled for January 15 and 16. Vico Jones is willing to replace fascia and
more cedar trees need trimming and burning. There is also painting on the
house and a second coat needed on the lower barn walls.
I found the best way to contact him was just show up at his door and holler
who is knocking. Didn't answer my calls or email. He is always happy to
talk if you can get in touch.
