Finally -
The news WAS that it would be implemented on Jan 1st.
When I got in a major fender bender back in March I couldn't find a current
copy of my insurance proof card.
They gave me a ticket, but was able to contest it without going to court by
taking my insurance evidence to the nearest city
I wonder if it also searches out-of-state databases. Not that I don't have
insurance, mind you...

I would be concerned that this plan is not implemented fairly.
What happens if you just renewed your insurance and can't
convince the officer that it has been paid? What if you left
the receipt at home in your briefcase?What if the insurance

It will be very difficult, and a hardship for many to try to get their
vehicle back.
I know that there are a lot of losers out there that drive without insurance.
