I rappelled, changed over and came back up once on the catwalk that Fritz mentioned, back around 1990. An Aggie caver, named Roger Sorrells, told me he had rappelled off of it back in the 80's. Why don't they let us have a Bridge Day.That would generate tourist dollars. David Locklear

I noticed the other day that all the REI handouts on ropes, harnesses, vertical gear, etc. have a new disclaimer that they do not support this style of Aussie rappelling and state that it is dangerous. A few years ago we had one of the local swat team members ask if it was OK if he set up next
