I could be understanding your situation, but it sounds like you're trying
to install a plugin by downloading it first. That isn't the way you usually
install plugins.
Usually, if everything is working OK, you click on"Import" in the backstage
area at the top of your home TW file to which you wi

I am a new TiddlyWiki user and am trying to understand its inner-workings.
Especially how to extend TW functionality with plugins. TiddlyTools is a
plugin paradise. Unfortunately, my attempts to save a plugin tiddler source
by clicking on "file" button provided by TiddlyTools results in an error
Hi Mario,
checked the changes to the SetDefaultTiddlers. Nor it works! Thanks.
Comming to point 3. Can you give me more information how to manage removing
the whole GettingStarted stuff into an invisible tiddler when viewed via
HTTP? The offered styles in your post are looking very interesting
Hi!
I just downloaded the current Versionof TiddlyWiki5 and saw the "Add a new
field" line.
Question now is: How can I display such a field's value.
Also I wonder whether or not it would be possible to have such fields be
displayed as editable? Maybe even with selectable values?
What I wanted
TWtid v2.0.3 + TWted v2.0.3 + TWtcalc v1.0.3 + TWtable v2.0.3
Main thing is element level synchronization, plus bug fixes. See release
note http://twtable.tiddlyspace.com/#%5B%5BRelease%20Note%20v2.0.3%5D%5D
Have fun!

Hi Reto
Thanks for the report, that's helpful - other users have reported problems
with recent versions of Java 7, we're investigating and hope to have an
answer soon.
Many thanks
Jeremy.

Just to let you know in case anyone has similar problems: I am using TW
2.7.1 in Chrome/Iron on Windows 7 (64-Bit).
After upgrading to Java 7 Update 25 I couldn't save anymore. I uninstalled
Update 25 and installed Java 7 Update 21. Result: I could save again in TW.

Hi Eric
Apologies for the late reply. I've installed Java 7 on my Mac and have been
trying to debug what's going on. At the moment, I believe that you have
uncovered an incompatibility between the new version of Java and
TiddlySaver, but further investigation is needed.
As others have pointed out
