I am still using MGSD, and never did figure out how to delete the ghost
tiddlers. Everything else is working OK, so I'm just muddling through. But
I would welcome help on deleting ghost tiddlers.

Thank you, David, for the quick and thoughtful reply. I'm still working
through your possible things to try.
I saw last week that you had created dGSD and appreciated your significant
contribution to the community. My biggest fear with TW/MGSD is lack of
support and development. You are
I actually decided to try to jump directly to using dGSD. Having trouble
importing in FF 17, so am trying to do in FF14. Even though I'm using the
import tiddler plugin and have source file in same directory, it just hangs
trying to open the list of tiddlers.
So I downloaded another empty
David, I am replying now while it's fresh in my mind. I don't expect you to
reply for perhaps 48 hours or next week if you're doing away. Happy
holidays
I'm doing all the following using FF14 on MSWin7 (I generally use Linux,
but moved to my Win box where I have FF14). Also, I'm downloading
Tiddlywiki version: 2.6.5
Variation: MGSD
Browser: Firefox 17.0.1 on Linux Mint 14
Tiddlyfox plugin installed: yes
Level: newbie
I have a couple of tiddlers that I cannot edit or delete. When opened to
edit, they have no tags (and have no content). They appear as actions under
a project,
It's not a dumb question. The answer is: No. I don't know how to
reload a TW (I assume that's different from uploading a TW, for
which I see links above, but I did not upload either). I did SAVE the
TW.

THANK YOU!
I'm running Linux, so I closed and reopened and red error link is
gone.
Will the edits I made in ViewTemplate (described in my original post)
be OK, at least to start? The instructions didn't match my install
exactly, maybe because of theme or something.
Thanks again to Whatever,
Yes, I tagged it systemConfig.
Do I need to remove another plugin that it replaced, or at least
reference to the old plugin in the ViewTemplate?
Also, I didn't actually import TagglyTaggingPlugin. Rather, I created
a new tiddler with that exact name: TagglyTaggingPlugin and copy/
pasted the text
It says: Error while executing macro tagglyTagging
No such macro

I'm running a recent, standard install of TreeView 2.6.2. I want to
install TagglyTagging and google for instructions.
I copied the text of the tiddler here:
http://mptw.tiddlyspot.com/#TagglyTagging.
For the name of the tiddler, I used: #TagglyTagging. (I also tried

Thank you. I re-imported TagglyTaggingPlugin as instructed but still
get the same error message.
Again, I appreciate your assistance.

I found shadow tiddler YourSearchOptions and got back to default
configuration.
I still have the original problem that search does not pull up project
with initial acronyms.

MGSD
Hi. I'm running MGSD 2.6.2 on FF 3.6.8 on Ubuntu 10.4 Linux. I'm
using YourSearch to search. I think that was default in MGSD. I don't
think I've added any search plugin.
I have projects named: BMD estateCSD ongoing. (I have also
tried intial cap for Estate)
I checked the tags, and
Apologies if this is dumb, but I've searched and not found an answer
at my level. Feel free to refer me to appropriate links for me to
read.
I've used MGSD for a week for tasks (this post has nothing to do with
MGSD), and now want to use tw-treeview-executive to start extensive
notes. Am running
After a week, I'm loving MGSD for getting things done, having imported
most of my working notes and lists and done some simple customizing.
I'm now turning to other uses for TiddlyWiki, such as research notes.
Experienced GTD users who do research, do you use the same MGSD html
file for research
I just started using MGSD a week ago and love it. I'm already gaining
momentum. I read David Allen's GTD a year ago and like the system.
I find that MGSD's default displays (such tagdashboard for Area) tend
not to display ticklers that are not associated with any Project (even

I just started using MGSD a week ago. I've tried to search this
question but can't find an answer.
If an existing Project or Area is renamed (especially if the first
word in the name changes), when it's saved the associated actions and
ticklers seem to fall off. It's then necessary to find the
That's also helpful to me, who has been using MGSD for one week.
Similar question: Can you give me similar code to list ALL Ticklers
(not just imminent ones) without a project? Default Area displays
does not show ticklers. Thank you.
You could try:

I just started using MGSD a week ago. I've tried to search this
question but can't find an answer. I have my MGSD file in Dropbox. I
assume that I should NOT open the same file with two computers
simultaneously, right? If it were OK, I could avoid opening the same
tiddlywiki simultaneously.
Thank you! I'll try it.
