I am glad it works for you now. To be honest, I don't fully understand why/how
my table of contents work. While experimenting with Jeremy's ToC, something
went right and I got that functioning. Now I am thinking of writing a general
purpose macro for nested sliders.

Thanks Alberto. I actually had a look at your website a couple of days ago
and imported the pieces I thought I needed. I got to a certain point though
and it seemed to stop working. Since all of this is new to me, I couldn't
figure it out. But I gave it another try and it is working great so far

Thanks for your suggestion Ton. I am looking for a menu that is:
capable of having multiple layers of sub menus (e.g. Living
things>Animals>Mammals>Primates>Humans)
AND have each of those items have their own tiddler so you could expand a
button to the side of an item and see its sub menu or clic
