It's been pushed back.
Unfortunately there are some significant problems in allowing
ColorPalette support in themes, which is one of the reasons for
pushing it back.

Haven't seen a reaction so far on this question.
But for me it is important because I am still using TW v2.4.3 for this
reason. As soon as there is good justification for the increase in
size I would be happy to upgrade. But so far I am very reluctant.

in response to my own post, RSS feed was not updated, but milestone
for ticket #717 is now v2.6.2 - just in case anyone else in monitoring

urls but that doesn't help you when you don't have internet access.

In TW v2.5.0 there was the introduction of jQuery "for future use",
adding some 20% to the size of an "empty" TW.
In the meantime we've seen v2.5.1, v2.5.2, v2.5.3 and now v2.6.0 with
a new, even bigger, version of jQuery.
