What's a proper use of this "Mark as complete" feature that appears in
every post? I tried to mark a certain reply I just answered as complete,
but it marked the whole thread...

The power of TiddlyWiki! Can get very confusing at first.
[[GettingStarted - Node.js]] is just a "wrapper" around [[Installing
TiddlyWiki on Node.js]]. It's purpose is to make the latter appear in
[[GettingStarted]] as one of the tabs. The list of tabs is auto-generated
by a filter that includes
Hi Jeremy,
There's a very little issue at tiddlywiki.com: in 5.1.8 release description:
release date still appears as TBA.
Thank you for this release (plugin management is a great addition)!
By the way, any chance to implement a charting widget?

Hi Jeremy,
I still can't successfully use the upgrader or drag a file from the period
after March 21st.
However, files dated before that (including 5.1.7 and earlier prerelease
versions) can be upgraded to 5.1.8 successfully.
If I hadn't been so impatient to see all the new features in actio
Many Thanks to Jeremy & All the Contributors!!
Little thing I found. Two identical tiddlers on TiddlyWiki.com?
There is still a tiddler called: "GettingStarted - Node.js" (8 month old)
Isn't this superseded by a newer tiddler: "Installing TiddlyWiki on
Node.js" (24 days old)
Only title seems diff
I haven't run into the problem again, so far my upgrades have been clean
from 5.1.8 pre releases to 5.1.8 official.
I only mentioned it because I ran into a similar problem with double quotes
and one of the previous pre release version but it has been solved for me
ever since

O
Jeremy,
Thanks for looking into this.
I can confirm that I am using the upgrader at the address you specified. I
started using a prerelease dating from about 21st March and my backups from
soon after this have the same problems. My backups from before this using
v5.1.7 give an error message
Hi Neil, cmari and Duarte
I've been unable to duplicate the problem except by upgrading from an
intermediate 5.1.8-prerelease that included the bug. Can you confirm that
you are seeing the problem when you upgrade a 5.1.7 wiki?
Best wishes
Jeremy

Hi Neil, Camarillo and Duarte
Please can you confirm the version number of the wikis before you tried the
upgrade? Also, did you perform the upgrade at
http://tiddlywiki.com/upgrade.html?
Many thanks,
Jeremy

I haven't had a chance to investigate, but it looks like there was a problem
with the single quote fix. I'll release 5.1.9 tomorrow to resolve this,
apologies for the hiccup.
Best wishes

I had the same problem and saw that others also reported it. I spent a lot
of time trying the same things you've tried. What worked in the end was
exporting all my tiddlers to json format, following the instructions Eric
gave here:
https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/tiddlywiki/a7d986a2-e389-49f3-
I've had that problem before in one of the pre-release versions, and Jeremy
said back then it was a bug, and it was solved.
Maybe it crept back in or something else broke it again, not sure, only he
can tell. Anyway, it's probably nothing wrong you did.

Great to see this release, but I'm having trouble with the upgrader which
seems to be breaking all my single quotes (they all appear as '). I
have used these in various places around filter strings and in javascript
macros and widgets, as well as in normal text, so it is causing me a
headache.
Congratulations and many thanks to Jeremy and colleagues who contributed!
Best wishes

Even if I've of course seen most of it in the prerelease, it is interesting
to be met by HelloThere and I think there is a striking balance between
linking to those informative key-feature tiddlers and simultaneously
keeping an informal and conversational tone. That, and the image
