I thought about both:
-the theme is a good starting point to see how things can be changed
in a vanilla tw.
-and mptw as a whole can be used as a good starting point.
It is not to big, and it contains imho some very usefull plugins.
Especially tagglyTagging, is a killer. And to say. I a
