Hi,
What is the modern equivalent of the 5372A and the 5371A time and
frequency analysers. I am also looking for lab view drivers for the
5371/5372 any pointers?
Thanks

Agilent's web site normally has some info on old gear. Just poke the part
number into their search box. Usually, that includes a link to their current
replacement. Unfortunately, both of them say no

Personally I'd go for the SRS unit.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for correcting me. It's so easy to ignorantly carry along a mistake
as simple as this one.
Thanks again,

Rob et al,
Be careful with the VIC-100 gain spec. When Aromat originally designed it
for HP back in the late 90's, they assigned the 30dB spec as an absolutely,
positively, under any circumstances, will never be lower number. The VIC's
actually run in the 38-40dB range. When I was working at
James,
If your measurement reqires a continuous time record (8K events - max), then
there is no current replacement for the 5372A.
For some things this zero dead time capability is important, otherwise the
modern counters already mentioned are quite good,
but be prepared to have your wallet

Mike,
Hi. That's quite a rack of boat anchors you have there.
Do you have a manual for the Beckman WWV receiver? I have one of these
receivers, but it's not working on
I think I traced the circuit out by hand many years ago. I'll see if I can
find it. Ping on me if you don't hear back in a few days. If 25 MHz is the
broken band, don't worry, they don't transmit there anymore. :-)

Hi Bruce,
It's a while since I looked at the HP circuit and patent, but if I
recall correctly a lot of the performance relied on the input circuit.
This used a line receiver with feedback. When I looked there did not
seem to be an equivalent receiver chip available. I'm
